Class AZ Truck Driver Program is established at 5wti
School is registered with the Ministry of Education and Training (now MTCU)
Heavy Equipment Operator Programs are launched
Opened the North Bay /Timmins campus for on-site Heavy Equipment training
Class AZ Truck Driver Program is certified by the Professional Truck Driver Training Institute (PTDI)
- PTDI Class AZ Truck Driver Program is recognized by the insurance industry
- Mechanic’s Assistant Program is launched
- Certificate courses are added to the curriculum of all programs
London-Sarnia Campus is opened
Head Office is opened in Haileybury
Partnership with Collège Boréal (5 years)
Technical Safety Standards Authority (TSSA) certifies Construction Heaters CH-02
Residence is added to the Haileybury site
Surface Miner Certification Program and combination programs are launched
Accepted as a full member of the Truck Training Schools Association of Ontario
Upgrades to programs and certificate courses are undertaken to reflect changes to legislation and regulations.
